We have made octopus' to display from our ceiling. We now feel like we are under the sea!

Butterflies

As we study insects and other amazing creatures this month, we have a few caterpillars that will soon turn into butterflies. Miss Cate brought some chrysalis' in for us to share. We had our first butterfly come out this morning. All the kids were SO excited!

Pump It Up- Pre-K 4s Auction Teacher Party

We are having experiment fun! This month we are talking about weather. In talking about the water cycle, the kids began to ask what is evaporation. It was hard for them to understand that as the water evaporated, we can't see it. We decided to do a experiment! We have one cup that we filled up with water and marked with a sharpie so we know where the water started. We did the same thing with cup 2, but we covered this one with foil. We are going to let them sit in the room and we are checking them during circle everyday and taking a picture. What will they look like at the end of the week!?

Today we measured our shoes and put them in order from smallest to largest! This went along with our measurement unit.

Look How Tall We Are!

At the beginning of the year, we measured ourselves on the wall. Last week we each measured ourseleves again. We have all so tall!!! The blue marks are from August and the yellow marks are from January. Come check out how much we have grown!! How much will we grow by the end of the year?
