We have made octopus' to display from our ceiling. We now feel like we are under the sea!

Butterflies

As we study insects and other amazing creatures this month, we have a few caterpillars that will soon turn into butterflies. Miss Cate brought some chrysalis' in for us to share. We had our first butterfly come out this morning. All the kids were SO excited!

Pump It Up- Pre-K 4s Auction Teacher Party

Hello everyone!!

Our experiment is over! We concluded that the water has turned into a gas. This is the reason it is not in the cup anymore!

We are having experiment fun! This month we are talking about weather. In talking about the water cycle, the kids began to ask what is evaporation. It was hard for them to understand that as the water evaporated, we can't see it. We decided to do a experiment! We have one cup that we filled up with water and marked with a sharpie so we know where the water started. We did the same thing with cup 2, but we covered this one with foil. We are going to let them sit in the room and we are checking them during circle everyday and taking a picture. What will they look like at the end of the week!?

Today we measured our shoes and put them in order from smallest to largest! This went along with our measurement unit.

Our Community, Bone-Stropolis is finally done!! It took a while, but it was all worth it! The kids did an excellent job!

Look How Tall We Are!

At the beginning of the year, we measured ourselves on the wall. Last week we each measured ourseleves again. We have all so tall!!! The blue marks are from August and the yellow marks are from January. Come check out how much we have grown!! How much will we grow by the end of the year?

Welcome Back!!!

It was great to see everyone today!! We all had a wonderful day! This month we are talking about animals and Christmas of course. Our high frequency word is "is" and the letter for the week is "Oo".

Just a FYI: I will be gone Wednesday through Friday for a conference in Arlington. Mrs. Karen Rand will be their sub all three days. She has been with them before and does an awesome job! I am sure they will have a great time! Also, PreK 4s will be singing in the Christmas Program Thursday, December 10th which is next week! Everyone will be there! Look for more info to come!

Class Registry through Box Tops

Here is another way to help your school. The Puppy Pals now have a registry through Box Tops. Every time you help out our class, a certain percentage goes to our school.

We will be collecting the next set of Box Tops on Tuesday, December 1st. Over the Holidays, check your pantry, family members pantry, even your neighbors! Also, check out the link below for special way to earn box tops, including on-line shopping. We won last time, lets see if we can do again!

Just a FYI: the calendar on the website has been updated. We have a lot of fun things going on in December that you are not going to want to miss! This includes your little ones singing at the Christmas Program on December 10th.
